An international Food Distributor in Los Angeles is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to manage high-volume AP invoice processing. The ideal candidate will possess a college degree in Accounting and have 2 years of AP accounting experience.
- Location: Los Angeles, CA
- Temporary Duration: About 6 months
- Work Hour: Monday - Friday between 8:30am - 5:00pm
- Pay rate: $22~25/hr
Requirements of the Accounting Clerk:
- College graduate and accounting major required
- 2 years’ experience in related accounting work
- Excellent Microsoft Office computer skills required
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Reliable and dependable work ethic
- Customer service-oriented with strong communication skills.
- Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new processes and systems.
Responsibilities of the Accounting Clerk:
- Review a high volume of Accounts Payable invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Verify appropriate General Ledger codes to expenses to ensure they are recorded in the correct department and account.
- Accurately enter high-volume invoice data into the system in a timely manner.
- Prepare and execute payment runs via Check, ACH, or Online.
- Quickly learn and adapt to new internal processes and financial systems.
- Other related duties
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
