Job description:
· The Payroll Analyst maintains accurate system data and assists with Time and Attendance and payroll processing.
· Facilitates audit processes to ensure system accuracy and efficiency in accordance with established regulations, policies and procedures.
· Partners with leadership regarding contracts, policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:
· Assists team members, managers and system end users with day-to-day payroll and time card questions and issues as they relate to numerous complex compensation programs.
· Collaborates to setup and maintain the Time and Attendance system tables, parameters and indicators while identifying system calculation problems and resolution through rules revisions; assists with system analysis for contract and pay plan compliance; facilitates and collaborates with others to implement and test system changes and upgrades; assists with routine application audits to resolve problems and improve processes.
· Maintains payroll system set ups and evaluates system processes and identifies areas for improvement.
· Analyzes payroll audit trail to ensure compliance with pay plan, and identifies and resolves system problems.
· Verifies and enters new hire information into the payroll system, implements automatic and union contract changes, processes team member status changes while complying with union contract. stipulations, and processes adjustments and manual checks as necessary.
· Completes pay period closing on the Time and Attendance and payroll systems.
Requirements:
· 5 Years Payroll Experience - [Required]
· Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Accounting - [Required]
· Automated Timekeeping Systems Experience - [Required]
· HRIS System Maintenance Experience - [Required]
· Knowledge of Automated Payroll Process and Software - [Required]
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
