Shift: Days (4x10-Hour Shifts with Rotating Call)
Compensation Break-up as per 40 Hours/Week:
Housing and Meal Stipend : $1,246/week (TAX-FREE)
W2 Pay : $24/hr (TAXABLE)
Gross Pay : $2,206/week
Job Description:
Seeking a highly experienced Endoscopy / GI Tech for a 13-week assignment. The GI Tech will assist physicians and nursing staff during advanced endoscopy procedures while ensuring efficient operation of endoscopic equipment and maintaining high standards for patient care and safety.
The technician will support complex GI procedures, assist with room setup, equipment processing, and patient care activities throughout the procedural workflow.
Responsibilities:
- Assist physicians and nursing staff during GI/endoscopy procedures including polypectomy, biopsies, screening exams, ERCP, and dilations
- Support providers during advanced and high-level complex endoscopy cases
- Disinfect, clean, and process endoscopic equipment
- Troubleshoot procedure-related equipment as needed
- Set up procedure rooms and maintain supplies/equipment inventory
- Transport patients when required
- Assist patients with dressing and ambulation as directed by nursing staff
- Apply EKG monitors, BP cuffs, and pulse oximetry prior to procedures
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of Endoscopy/GI Tech experience – Required
- Advanced case Endoscopy experience – Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent – Required
- BLS Certification (AHA) – Required
- Colorado DORA Surgical Tech Registration (CST) – Required and active at submission
- SGNA Associates/Advanced Associates Program – Highly Preferred
- IAHCSMM Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) Certification – Highly Preferred
- EMR: Meditech
Pay: $2,150.00 - $2,206.00 per week
