ABOUT: Assists nursing staff and physician during the procedure with efficient running of equipment related to the needs of the procedure (including, but not limited to polypectomy, biopsies, screening exams, ERCP, and dilations); Disinfects and processes endoscopic equipment; assists with troubleshooting of equipment; Sets up room for procedures; Transports patients as needed; Stocks rooms with supplies and equipment; Assists patients with getting dressed and ambulation as directed by nursing staff; Assists with applying EKG monitors, BP cuff and pulse oximetry prior to start of case.SHIFTS: 4-10-hour shifts per week with rotating call.CERTS:High School diploma or equivalent required.BLS through the American Heart Association is required.Registered with DORA as a CO Surgical Tech, required in Colorado.Highly preferred, both or either:Society of Gastroenterology Nurses and Associates (SGNA) Associates Program and/or Advanced Associates Program. Current IAHCSMM Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) Certification.EXPERIENCE: 2 years of Endo experience is required.Advanced Case Endo experience is also required. We need an Endo Tech that is very experienced and can assist our Provider with high level, complex cases.
