We are looking for an experienced Assembly Manager to join our team! We assemble high quality, semi-custom cabinetry to the building trades and are looking for motivated individuals to help us reach our goals, focused on our high quality of work.

Responsible for leading team members in the Assembly Area of our cabinetry company with a continuous focus on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost (SQDC). Hyper-focused on schedule attainment. Possesses strong business management skills in the areas of: planning, leading others, communicating expectations and performance standards, delivering results, meeting customer expectations, and adapting and responding to change and challenges. Oversees and leads a team in our Assembly department to ensure complete, on-time schedule attainment and quality standards at or above customer expectations. Ensures team members are working safely and efficiently at all times. Reports to the Plant Manager.
May be willing to pay for mileage if you live certain distance from job location.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of builders to meet daily goals
- Assemble cabinets
- Use of power tools to attach parts
- Install glass into doors
- Complete modifications on cabinets
- Communication with fellow employees, line lead and finishing department
- Quality visual inspections of finished products
Knowledge and Requirements:
- Will be required to learn the product line to ensure that assembled cabinets meet specifications
- Frequently required to stand for long periods of time
- Occasionally lift and/or move items weighing up to 50 pounds
VERY IMPORTANT Knowledge and Skills Required
- Demonstrates ability to use power tools safely and effectively.
- Possesses physical strength and stamina required to stand, walk and lift for long periods of time.
- Possesses physical dexterity necessary to assemble small delicate product parts.
- Pays close attention to detail.
Education and/or Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
- Further education in a trade school or college is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years' work experience in a related work environment
