- Present treatment plans and educate patients on recommended care
- Discuss insurance benefits, financial options, and payment plans
- Collect patient payments and ensure financial arrangements are accurate
- Coordinate treatment, surgical, and sedation appointments
- Verify insurance benefits, treatment estimates, and pre-operative documentation
- Follow up on unscheduled treatment and help patients overcome barriers to care
- Communicate with referring offices and collaborate with the clinical team to ensure seamless patient care
- Monitor treatment plans, schedules, and financial records for accuracy
- Resolve patient questions and concerns with professionalism and compassion
- Support practice goals by improving treatment acceptance, collections, and patient satisfaction
- Maintain accurate patient records while ensuring HIPAA compliance
- Contribute to a positive, team-focused culture and assist with office initiatives as needed
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 2 years of dental office experience required
- Previous Treatment Coordinator experience preferred
- Knowledge of dental insurance, treatment planning, and financial arrangements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and dental practice management software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and rapport
- Excellent organizational, multitasking, and time management abilities
- Comfortable discussing finances and helping patients make informed treatment decisions
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills and a commitment to accuracy
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while providing exceptional customer service
