Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and caring Dental Assistant II to join our dental team. The Dental Assistant II will play a crucial role in assisting our dentists and hygienists, ensuring the smooth operation of the dental clinic, and delivering exceptional patient experiences. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with a strong commitment to patient care.

Responsibilities

• • Chairside Assistance: Support the dentist during procedures, managing instruments, suctioning, and ensuring patient comfort. 
  • Patient Care: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain a clean, organized environment. 
  • X-Ray Imaging: Capture dental X-rays, adhering to safety protocols. 
  • Patient Education: Guide patients on oral hygiene, post-op care, and treatment options. 
  • Records Management: Accurately update patient records and dental charts in EHR systems. 
  • Infection Control: Strictly follow sterilization and disinfection protocols. 
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the dental team to ensure smooth patient flow and support

Qualifications

• Must have current CPR Certification 

• Must have Coronal Polishing Certification  

• X-ray certification 

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills. 

• Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities. 

• Proficient in dental procedures and instrument handling. 

• Thorough understanding of infection control protocols and OSHA standards.
