Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Transportation Coordinator to join our Trolleys logistics effort. In this vital role, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of Triad transportation contract activities to ensure timely and efficient preparation, launch, monitoring, evaluating toward unique world-class Event execution. Your expertise in transportation management systems, GPS technology, and Best Practices (SOP) will drive operational excellence. You will serve as a key communicator between Customers, Drivers, Passengers, and Service Shops..… ensuring seamless and efficient logistics operations while maintaining high standards of safety and compliance. Responsibilities
- Coordinate weekly transportation schedules using common sense and transportation relevant management systems.
- Monitor GPS and GIS data to track progress, prevention of any delays to implement corrective actions promptly
- Manage dispatching activities for all Trolleys, ensuring accurate communication via multi-line phone systems and maintaining professional phone etiquette
- Oversee shipping and receiving operations, including freight documentation, data entry, and inventory updates within AS400 systems
- Collaborate with 3PL providers and internal teams to coordinate logistics activities aligned with supply chain objectives
- Conduct analysis of transportation data to identify inefficiencies, cost-saving opportunities, and process improvements
- Maintain accurate records related to fleet management, shipping schedules, and compliance requirements
Qualifications
- Proven experience with transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management or similar platforms
- Strong understanding of logistics, transportation planning, and supply chain principles
- Familiarity with GPS technology, GIS mapping tools, and fleet management software
- Excellent analysis skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets for decision-making
- Effective communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette for dispatching and client interactions
- Proficiency in data entry using systems like AS400 and SyteLine; typing speed is advantageous
- Experience in shipping & receiving operations, freight coordination, or dispatching roles preferred
- Knowledge of 3PL logistics providers and freight regulations is a plus
