Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for an HVAC/Piping Estimator based in Glendale, AZ. The Estimator will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for HVAC, piping, and plumbing projects by analyzing plans and specifications. Key duties include conducting project take-offs, preparing budgets, reviewing contracts, and coordinating with project managers to ensure accurate cost projections and efficient project planning. The Estimator will also communicate with vendors, subcontractors, and clients to gather necessary data and build strong professional relationships.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in HVAC and Piping systems with the ability to analyze and evaluate project specifications
- Experience in Project Management and coordination to ensure the successful planning and execution of estimates
- Knowledge of Budgeting and cost estimation practices to prepare detailed and accurate cost projections
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Proficiency in relevant estimating software and tools (Quote Soft Preferred)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for vendor, contractor, and client collaboration
- Prior experience in mechanical contracting or a related construction field is an advantage
