Role Overview
As our Lead Commercial Service Technician, you will:
- Service, diagnose, and repair a wide range of commercial HVAC systems
- Lead and mentor developing technicians, helping shape the next generation of talent
- Play a key role in maintaining our reputation for exceptional service and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5 years of commercial HVAC experience, or a combination of education and experience
- Licensing & Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Recognized technical training
- EPA certification
- Pre‑hire drug screen and background check
· Technical Skills
· Ability to read and interpret safety rules, O&M manuals, wiring diagrams, and blueprints
· Ability to draft routine service reports
· Comfortable with the physical demands of the role
· Familiarity with:
o Commercial package units (all sizes)
o Water‑source heat pumps
o Heat exchangers, pumps, boilers, chillers
o Control valves
o Building automation and control systems
· Strong critical‑thinking and diagnostic skills
· Professional Traits
· Team‑oriented with a customer‑first mindset
· Flexible with overtime, on‑call rotation, and occasional weekends
· Willing to take on leadership responsibilities
· Committed to delivering service that exceeds expectations
· Understanding of hydronic systems and water treatment
Compensation & Benefits
