What are the responsibilities and job description for the HVAC Sheet Metal Foreman position at Tri-Mega Mechanical?
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced HVAC Sheet Metal Foreman to join our team here at Tri-Mega Mechanical in Glendale. The ideal candidate will oversee and coordinate HVAC projects, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
Duties:
- Supervise sheet metal techs/installers on job sites
- Complete daily and weekly paperwork
- Manage project timelines and budgets
- Interpret specifications, blueprints and work orders
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and clients
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during projects while working with superintendents and project managers
- Inspect completed work for accuracy and strict compliance with building codes and design standards
- Conduct daily safety meetings (JSA/HSA) and ensure every team member adheres to OSHA safety standards
Qualifications:
- Must be proficient in layout of equipment and ductwork, knowledge of duct fabrication, assembly and installation
- 4 years in commercial HVAC sheet metal, with at least 2 years in a leadership or foreman role
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously an clearly communicate instructions to y our team and update general contractors
- Able to lift up to 50-75lbs, work at heights, and handle various field conditions
**Must have clean drivers license to drive company vehicle**
