The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC machining or electrical engineering principles and a commitment to providing students with the practical skills and knowledge necessary for successful careers in the engineering field.Key Responsibilities: Curriculum Development: Design and implement a comprehensive engineering curriculum that aligns with MA DESE standards, integrating theoretical knowledge with hands-on projects and real-world applications. Instruction: Deliver engaging and effective instruction in various engineering disciplines, including CNC machining or electrical engineering, as well as engineering design processes. Assessment: Develop and administer assessments to evaluate student understanding and practical skills, providing constructive feedback to support student growth and development.

Classroom and Lab Management: Establish and maintain a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment that encourages collaboration, creativity, and critical thinking. Collaboration: Work closely with other vocational program instructors to integrate engineering skills into broader vocational training, ensuring students receive a well-rounded education. Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance instructional practices and stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in engineering education. Parent and Community Engagement: Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and foster relationships with local engineering firms and organizations to support student learning and job placement.

Advisory Role: Act as a mentor or advisor to students, assisting them with academic challenges and guiding them in career exploration and job readiness.
