Position Summary
The Networking Instructor will teach adult learners foundational to advanced networking concepts in alignment with industry certifications (e.g. CompTIA Network , Cisco CCNA). Instruction will emphasize hands-on skills, labs, and real-world scenarios to prepare students for employment or further training.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach networking fundamentals, routing & switching, wireless networks, IP addressing, subnetting, LAN/WAN design, and infrastructure maintenance.
• Guide learners through labs with real and simulated hardware (Cisco routers/switches, packet tracers, etc.).
• Prepare students for certification exams such as CompTIA Network or Cisco CCNA.
• Integrate troubleshooting, network design, and configuration exercises into instruction.
• Maintain course records and provide academic support for diverse adult learners.
• Collaborate with instructors and adult education staff to support learner success.
