The Cybersecurity Instructor will lead adult learners through key concepts in system and network security, ethical hacking, and cyber defense. This role prepares students for entry-level careers and certifications like CompTIA Security , CEH, and others.
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach cybersecurity principles including threat analysis, security controls, firewalls, intrusion detection, access control, and encryption.
• Provide lab-based instruction using virtual environments, penetration testing tools, and SIEM platforms.
• Prepare students for certifications such as Security , CySA , or CEH.
• Integrate real-world security scenarios into lessons (e.g. incident response, malware analysis).
• Support learners in understanding cybersecurity ethics, legal frameworks, and risk management.
• Track progress, evaluate student work, and provide timely feedback.
