What are the responsibilities and job description for the Registered Nurse position at Tri-County Family Medicine?
We are seeking a motivated professional to join our team in a full-time role. This position offers a family-focused work environment with no overnights or holidays and only occasional Saturdays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interpret and carry out provider orders while maintaining high standards of patient care
- Coordinate and arrange patient services within the hospital and community
- Provide patient and family education with a compassionate and culturally sensitive approach
- Accurately obtain and document patient histories and vital signs
- Review and update medication lists; prepare prescription refill requests for provider approval and electronic transmission
- Facilitate effective communication between physicians, patients, families, and hospital staff
- Complete daily and monthly nursing checklists and logs; promptly report any abnormalities to the Nursing Supervisor
