FULL-TIME (40 HOURS PER WEEK) PART YEAR
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY: Assist the Head Start Teacher in implementing a preschool curriculum for children in a center-based setting. Ensure a safe, healthy learning environment for children ages 3-5.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Support developmentally appropriate practices and Head Start Performance Standards by assisting with lesson planning, education paperwork, developmental assessments, observations, and documentation. Promote family engagement, conduct home visits, maintain a safe and healthy environment, provide responsive caregiving, and support school readiness for children and families.
