What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Toddler Teacher Early Head Start, South Kingstown position at Tri-County Community Action Agency?
FULL-TIME (40 HOURS PER WEEK) FULL YEAR
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY: Oversee the daily operations of an Early Head Start Toddler classroom and to provide the children with an educational program that is conducive to optimal development.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: Be knowledgeable about developmentally appropriate practices, planning according to the individual needs of each child, completing education paperwork, conducting developmental on-line assessments, conducting observations of children daily, encouraging family engagement in the program, conducting education home visits, maintaining a safe and healthy environment, providing “Responsive Caregiving” to all children and promoting the school readiness of children and families in the program.
