Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Childcare Center Director to lead and manage our vibrant early childhood education facility. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with licensing standards, and foster a nurturing environment where children can thrive. Responsibilities

  • Provide visionary leadership to staff, promoting a positive, collaborative, and professional workplace culture
  • Oversee daily center operations, ensuring smooth functioning and adherence to all licensing and safety regulations
  • Develop and implement educational programs that support developmental milestones and foster curiosity in children
  • Manage staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and ongoing professional development
  • Build strong relationships with families, addressing concerns and communicating center policies effectively
  • Maintain accurate records related to enrollment, attendance, licensing compliance, and health & safety protocols
  • Monitor budgetary needs, resource allocation, and procurement to ensure the center’s operational efficiency

Requirements

  • Higher education teaching experience or background in early childhood education is highly desirable
  • Proven experience in education administration or managing an educational facility
  • Prior university or higher education experience is a plus, demonstrating strong organizational skills and academic understanding
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team of educators and support staff effectively
  • Experience working with young children and understanding their developmental needs
  • Knowledge of licensing requirements for childcare centers and compliance standards
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with diverse families and community partners

Pay: $21.08 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
