Responsibilities
- Provide visionary leadership to staff, promoting a positive, collaborative, and professional workplace culture
- Oversee daily center operations, ensuring smooth functioning and adherence to all licensing and safety regulations
- Develop and implement educational programs that support developmental milestones and foster curiosity in children
- Manage staff recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and ongoing professional development
- Build strong relationships with families, addressing concerns and communicating center policies effectively
- Maintain accurate records related to enrollment, attendance, licensing compliance, and health & safety protocols
- Monitor budgetary needs, resource allocation, and procurement to ensure the center’s operational efficiency
Requirements
- Higher education teaching experience or background in early childhood education is highly desirable
- Proven experience in education administration or managing an educational facility
- Prior university or higher education experience is a plus, demonstrating strong organizational skills and academic understanding
- Demonstrated ability to lead a team of educators and support staff effectively
- Experience working with young children and understanding their developmental needs
- Knowledge of licensing requirements for childcare centers and compliance standards
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with diverse families and community partners

Pay: $21.08 - $22.00 per hour
