Unarmed Security Officer – Retail Store (Everett, WA)
Location: Everett, WA
Pay Rate: $20–$22 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Wednesday–Sunday, 9:45 AM – 6:00 PM

Position Overview
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Unarmed Security Officer to support a busy retail store in Everett, WA. This role is centered on maintaining a safe, welcoming shopping environment while proactively deterring loss and addressing day-to-day security concerns.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible and professional presence at store entrances and key areas
- Deter theft, vandalism, and disruptive behavior through observation and patrol
- Monitor foot traffic, merchandise areas, and back-of-house spaces
- Respond promptly to incidents and assist store staff with non-violent situations
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting shoppers as needed
- Document daily activities, incidents, and observations clearly and accurately
- Collaborate with store management and supervisors to enforce policies and procedures
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Washington State Security Guard License (Required)
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Professional demeanor with strong customer service skills
- Excellent communication and situational awareness
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
- Availability to work Wednesday–Sunday schedule
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous retail security or loss prevention experience
- CPR/First Aid certification
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
- Military or public safety background
