Job Overview
We are seeking Unarmed Security Officers for a busy retail store in Everett, WA. Your role will be to support the store team in creating a safe and inviting shopping experience while staying alert to potential risks and incidents.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain a visible and welcoming presence at the store entrance
- Deter shoplifting, vandalism, and other disruptive behavior through observation and patrol
- Monitor foot traffic, inventory security, and back-of-house areas
- Respond to store staff requests for assistance with non-violent incidents
- Provide directions and assistance to customers as needed
- Complete daily activity reports and incident logs clearly and thoroughly
- Collaborate with store staff and Treston supervisors to enforce site-specific policies
Minimum Requirements
- Valid Washington State Security Guard License (Required)
- 18 years old
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Able to stand and walk for long periods
- Flexible schedule (availability on weekends and holidays preferred)
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous retail or loss prevention security experience
- CPR/First Aid certified
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
- Prior military or public safety experience
