🧹 Position Summary

Under general supervision, the Custodian performs high-quality custodial services to ensure buildings are clean, orderly, and well-maintained. This position is ideal for someone who works well independently, pays attention to detail, and values consistency and responsibility.

🎓 Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED

• Willingness to learn custodial tasks required for building maintenance

• AbilityOne Program participation preferred

🚗 Licenses / Certifications

• Driving Required: Yes

🔐 Background & Security Requirements

This position requires the ability to successfully complete background and security checks, including:

• Office of Inspector General / CMMS Exclusions List ✔

• Driving Record (MVR) ✔

• General Background Check ✔

• Ability to obtain and maintain a NACI Federal Background Check

🧽 Essential Functions

Job-Specific Duties

• Clean and sanitize restrooms

• Sweep, wet mop tile floors, and vacuum carpeted areas

• Clean entranceways, interior and exterior windows, and office glass

• Empty trash and replace liners

• Restock restroom supplies (paper, soap, deodorizers, batteries)

• Perform high dusting monthly (including window blinds)

• Report maintenance or repair needs to Facility Maintenance

• Assist the public when necessary

• Perform other cleaning duties as assigned
