What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grounds Maintenance Worker position at Tresco Inc?
- ther landscaping equipment
- Mow medians, roadways, shoulders, and landscaped areas
- Trim grass and vegetation in hard-to-reach areas
- Maintain desert landscaping and apply weed and pest control treatments
- Repair and maintain irrigation systems, including Rain Bird valves, sprinkler heads, timers, pipes, wiring, and fittings
- Dig trenches for irrigation repairs
- Perform preventive maintenance on equipment, including lubrication and fluid checks
- Repair and replace cable fencing, posts, and hardware
- Inspect outdoor areas for hazards and report maintenance needs
- Follow all safety procedures and properly use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Assist with rest area repairs and occasional custodial duties
- Remove snow and ice when necessary
- Provide courteous assistance to members of the public
- Complete additional assignments as directed by the supervisor

## Qualifications
### Education
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in:
- Grounds maintenance
- Irrigation systems
- Tractor and mowing equipment operation
- Valid Driver's License
- Current Weed/Pest Control Applicator License (Required)

Employment Is Contingent Upon Successfully Completing
- General Background Check
- Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)
- Office of Inspector General (OIG) Exclusions Check
- New Mexico Department of Health Fingerprinting
