In-Game Host

The Trenton Ironhawks are members of the ECHL and play home games at CURE Insurance Arena in Trenton, New Jersey. The Ironhawks are entering their inaugural season in 2026-27 as the ECHL affiliate of the New York Islanders and the AHL’s Hamilton Hammers.

The Ironhawks are bringing professional hockey back to Trenton and are committed to creating an exciting, high-energy game day experience for fans throughout New Jersey and the surrounding region.

We are seeking an energetic, charismatic, and highly engaging In-Venue Host to help bring Ironhawks hockey to live at CURE Insurance Arena.

The In-Game Host is one of the most visible personalities at an Ironhawks game. This role is responsible for interacting directly with fans, leading promotions and contests, delivering scripted and unscripted content, hosting on-camera segments, supporting sponsors, and helping create an exciting atmosphere throughout the entire game night experience. We’re looking for someone who can work a crowd, think on their feet, follow a script, and make every fan feel like they’re part of the show.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary in-game host for all Ironhawks home games, welcoming fans, introducing various in-game promotions, and leading entertainment features.
• Engage with fans throughout the game, encouraging participation in cheers, chants, and interactive activities.
• Maintain crowd energy during stoppages, intermissions, and other breaks in play.
• Seamlessly incorporate sponsor messages and promotional content into the in-game entertainment experience while maintaining high energy and enthusiasm.
• Conduct on-camera segments with fans, community members, and special guests as assigned.
• Work closely with PA Announcer, Music DJ, Video/Scoreboard Operator, Game Presentation Director, Promotions Team, and arena staff.
• Represent the Ironhawks and CURE Insurance Arena in a professional and enthusiastic manner at all times.
