You will gain hands-on experience working closely with seasoned professionals, learning how to evaluate project needs, prepare accurate estimates, and support the sales process from initial inquiry to project completion. - Review construction drawings, specifications, and fixture schedules to perform accurate take-offs and generate quotes for trench drain projects.
- Generate leads using on-line lead subscriptions and follow-up customer contact.
- Provide technical and sales support to engineers, contractors, wholesalers, and regional sales managers.
- Develop in-depth knowledge of trench drain products, including materials, configurations, and competitive offerings.
- Assist in preparing project submittals, bid proposals, and cost estimates for commercial and residential applications.
- Track sales opportunities and follow up on leads using the company’s CRM (Salesforce.com).
- Collaborate with the trench drain sales team to increase market visibility and secure new projects.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
- Strong negotiation skills to effectively communicate value and secure favorable terms
- Experience or familiarity with AutoCad or similar software is a plus
- Knowledge of construction estimating principles, including cost analysis and pricing strategies
- Understanding of construction processes, site safety protocols, and project management fundamentals
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with team members, clients, and contractors
