Position Overview
Tremson is looking for a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator with experience in forestry and land clearing operations. This position will involve running a variety of machines in active clearing environments and working as part of a production-focused crew.

Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently in land clearing environments
- Perform tree removal, processing, and material handling
- Assist with stump removal, site prep, and cleanup operations
- Work closely with foreman and crew to maintain production pace
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Maintain clean and organized work areas on job sites
Qualifications
- Minimum experience of 5 years in heavy equipment operation
- Experience operating heavy equipment in forestry, land clearing, or similar work
- Strong understanding of job site safety and equipment operation
- Ability to work in changing site conditions (woods, mud, uneven terrain)
- Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work as part of a team
- Mechanical awareness and ability to execute basic maintenance on machine
Preferred (Not Required)
- Class A CDL
- Experience with forestry-specific equipment (feller buncher, skidder, excavator, loaders)
- Prior experience in land clearing or logging operations
- General knowledge of tree felling

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
