Construction yard in search of experienced heavy equipment operator
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as dozers, loaders, backhoes, excavators, and other construction machinery with precision and safety.
- Perform site preparation tasks like grading, excavation, loading, and material transport to support construction activities.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety standards are met.
- Collaborate with site supervisors to execute project plans efficiently while adhering to safety protocols and environmental regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience operating heavy construction equipment on active job sites.
- Mechanical knowledge of heavy machinery including Caterpillar (CAT) equipment
- Familiarity with construction site safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
- Ability to perform basic maintenance on equipment like excavators, loaders, dozers, cranes, and tanker trucks.
- Physical stamina to work outdoors in varying weather conditions for extended periods.
