Job Description:
Reporting to the Production Manager, Machine Operator is responsible for responsible for setting up and operating machinery and equipment with specified materials or solution(s).
Job Type: Full time, onsite
Schedule: Varies by shift and department
Compensation: Starting hourly rate of $21.00 an hour. Additional shift differentials are offered for 2nd and 3rd shift. A .50 an hour increase is given after 90 days of employment. A $3,000 retention bonus will be paid out in $1,000 increments at 90 days, 6 months, and 1 year.
Responsibilities
- Conform to all safety guidelines and procedures
- Operate equipment according to SOP and specifications provided
- Regulate machine speeds, temperature, air pressure, circulation flow and coatings to material(s), if applicable
- Consistently check material to ensure in-depth quality measures
- Assist in weekly preventative maintenance and cleanings
- Sustain housekeeping guidelines
- Operate warehouse equipment (may apply)
- All other duties, as assigned
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, work under pressure, and meet deadlines.
- Must be able to climb multiple steps, lift up to 40 pounds on a regular basis.
- Must be willing and able to work as a team member
- Basic reading, writing and math skills
- Must be able to be fit for a respirator, if applicable
