As a Machine Operator, you will be responsible for operating production machinery and ensuring the efficient and safe operation of equipment. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong technical skills who can effectively monitor machinery, adjust settings as needed, and ensure that materials and products meet quality standards.
Responsibilities:
- Operate production machinery in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
- Set up equipment and machinery to required settings for each production run.
- Monitor the operation of machinery or equipment to ensure smooth and efficient production processes.
- Perform routine checks and inspections on machinery to identify any issues or abnormalities.
- Adjust machine settings as necessary to maintain product quality and consistency.
- Inspect materials or products produced by the machinery to determine whether they meet quality standards.
- Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions or technical issues and perform basic maintenance tasks as needed.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation as required.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as a machine operator or in a manufacturing/production environment is preferred.
- Strong technical skills and mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to detect deviations from quality standards.
- Basic understanding of machinery and equipment operation.
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move heavy objects if required.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
Working Hours: 7:00am-3:30pm
Compensation: $19.00 per hour
