What You'll Handle
The Payroll Specialist delivers accurate, on-schedule, end-to-end payroll for assigned employee groups. You keep payroll data clean, follow required internal controls, and support reporting and compliance while protecting confidential information.
Required qualifications/skills:
- 3 years of full-cycle payroll processing experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance (or related coursework plus hands-on experience)
- Working knowledge of payroll laws, payroll taxes, wage and hour compliance, and timekeeping/payroll systems
- Intermediate Excel skills; strong accuracy, organization, and customer service
- Cloud payroll system experience preferred (UKG Pro, Workday, ADP, or similar)
- Complex payroll experience preferred (multi-location, union, 200 employees)
How Your Day Flows
Your day begins between 7–4 or 8–5 onsite in Selah. You will start by checking messages and priorities for the payroll cycle. You spend focused blocks of time moving between your payroll platform, timekeeping screens, and Excel to confirm details and keep your work organized. When questions come in, you respond with clear next steps and keep notes tight so follow-ups don't slip. You'll coordinate quick check-ins with partners to align on what's needed and what's due next. As the day closes, you review what's pending, document where items stand, and set up a clean handoff list for tomorrow.

Pay Information
Salary Range: $62,800-$94,200 annually
Target Starting Range: $31-$35/hour
This range reflects the full pay scale for all roles within this position's grade. The actual salary offer will consider various factors, such as experience and, if applicable, location. Tree Top provides a bi-weekly payroll. This position is eligible for yearly incentive based on company performance.
