Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to support strategic Health Insurance Exchange initiatives for our client. This role will be responsible for managing multiple complex IT projects within the Enterprise Project Management Office (PMO), ensuring successful execution from project initiation through deployment and closure.
The ideal candidate possesses strong leadership skills, extensive enterprise project management experience, and a proven track record of delivering large-scale technology initiatives on schedule, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
· Lead end-to-end planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of multiple IT projects.
· Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations.
· Coordinate cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and technology partners.
· Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies.
· Facilitate project governance meetings and provide executive-level status reporting.
· Ensure adherence to PMO standards, methodologies, and best practices.
· Manage project scope, change requests, and stakeholder expectations.
· Drive successful implementation of enterprise applications, system integrations, and technology modernization initiatives.
· Monitor project performance and ensure delivery of agreed-upon business outcomes.
· Support continuous improvement efforts across project management processes.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor''s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
· 10 years of IT Project Management experience.
· Proven experience managing large-scale enterprise technology projects.
· Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, governance, and lifecycle management.
· Experience working within Enterprise PMO environments.
· Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
· Demonstrated success managing project budgets, schedules, resources, and risks.
· PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification required.
· Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Certification required or strongly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience supporting Healthcare, Health Insurance, Medicaid, Medicare, or Health Insurance Exchange programs.
· Experience managing system implementation, integration, modernization, or digital transformation projects.
· Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Hybrid project delivery methodologies.
· Experience working with government or highly regulated environments.
