Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to deliver end-to-end analytics solutions across modern data platforms. This role involves building scalable datasets, performing advanced analytics, and delivering actionable insights to business stakeholders.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL, Python, Power BI, and Snowflake, along with experience leveraging AI-assisted tools such as Microsoft Copilot to enhance productivity, automation, and insight generation.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather business requirements and translate them into scalable analytics solutions, including datasets, dashboards, and KPI frameworks
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries across SQL Server, Snowflake, and modern data platforms
- Design and maintain data models (star schema, dimensional modeling, curated layers)
- Develop and optimize interactive dashboards using Power BI (DAX, Power Query) and Tableau
- Perform data analysis and automation using Python (pandas, NumPy, etc.)
- Ensure data quality, validation, and governance through reconciliation and monitoring processes
- Work within Microsoft Fabric ecosystem (Lakehouse, pipelines, dataflows, semantic models)
- Leverage AI tools (Microsoft Copilot and similar) to accelerate development, documentation, and reporting
- Communicate insights effectively to stakeholders and provide data-driven recommendations
- Maintain clear documentation including data definitions, lineage, and reporting logic
Required Skills & Experience
- 7–10 years of experience in data analytics, BI, or consulting
- Advanced expertise in SQL (CTEs, joins, window functions, performance tuning)
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL Server and Snowflake
- Proficiency in Power BI (DAX, data modeling) and Tableau
- Experience with Python for data analysis and automation
- Exposure to Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, pipelines, dataflows)
- Experience using AI-assisted tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) in analytics workflows
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with statistical analysis or forecasting models
- Knowledge of ETL processes and data pipelines
- Familiarity with data governance and data quality frameworks
- Experience in financial services or enterprise-scale environments
