Job Title: SAP EWM Consultant – Serialization & SAP ATTP
Location: Indianapolis, IN—once in a week onsite
Duration: 6 Months (Possible Extension)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP EWM Consultant with strong expertise in SAP Serialization and Advanced Track & Trace for Pharmaceuticals (ATTP) to support enterprise pharmaceutical and life sciences initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) implementations, SAP S/4HANA integrations, serialization processes, and pharmaceutical compliance requirements. This role requires strong hands-on technical and functional expertise in designing, implementing, and supporting global SAP EWM solutions.
Required Qualifications
- 14 years of overall SAP experience.
- 8 years of hands-on experience with SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) implementation and support.
- Strong expertise in SAP EWM processes, including:
- Inbound processing
- Outbound processing
- Internal warehouse movements
- Inventory management
- RF framework
- Warehouse monitoring
- Experience integrating SAP EWM with:
- SAP S/4HANA
- SAP ERP
- SAP TM
- MES platforms
- Third-party warehouse automation systems
SAP Serialization & ATTP Experience
- Hands-on experience with SAP Serialization and SAP Advanced Track and Trace for Pharmaceuticals (ATTP).
- Strong understanding of pharmaceutical serialization lifecycle and regulatory compliance.
- Experience with:
- Commissioning
- Aggregation
- Packaging
- Shipping
- Verification processes
- Knowledge of pharmaceutical serialization standards:
- GS1 standards
- DSCSA regulations
- EU Falsified Medicines Directive (EU FMD)
Key Responsibilities
- Lead SAP EWM implementation and support activities for pharmaceutical/life sciences clients.
- Design, configure, test, and deploy SAP EWM solutions.
- Participate in Fit-to-Standard workshops and requirement gathering sessions.
- Prepare functional specifications and collaborate with ABAP teams.
- Support integrations between EWM, ATTP, S/4HANA, TM, MES, and external systems.
- Perform testing, cutover planning, hypercare support, and production issue resolution.
- Analyze warehouse processes and recommend process improvements.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, technical teams, and vendors.
Preferred Qualifications
- SAP EWM Certification preferred.
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA Embedded EWM.
- Experience supporting global pharmaceutical or life sciences organizations.
- Experience with AMS, production support, and global rollout programs.
