Executive Summary
As the Marketing & Growth Manager for a multi-brand pet retail portfolio (Treats Unleashed, Bone-A-Patreat,), you are responsible for driving foot traffic to 26 locations while scaling a high-growth e-commerce platform. You will transition our marketing from "activity-based" to "data-driven," ensuring our brand legacy is protected as we grow.
Key Strategic Responsibilities
1. Omni-Channel Strategy & ROI
Develop and lead the Annual Integrated Marketing Plan with a focus on "Same-Store Sales Growth" and "New Customer Acquisition."
Manage the marketing budget and report monthly on ROAS (Return on Ad Spend) and CAC (Customer Acquisition Cost). .
Bridge the gap between digital and physical.
Assortment Strategy: Collaborate and participate in the growth of brands in-store. Create marketing activities that drive the growth of strategic brands.
Merchandising Synergy: Collaborate on visual merchandising strategy to ensure "In-Store Brand Performance" is optimized through high-impact endcaps, educational signage, and strategic product placement that mirrors our digital campaigns.
Vendor Relations: Act as the primary marketing contact for our top 20 vendors, negotiating Co-op Marketing funds and exclusive product launches to drive competitive advantage.
2. Brand Management & Content
Maintain a distinct "Brand Voice" for each of our retail concepts while leveraging shared resources for efficiency.
Oversee the creative direction for all in-store and digital assets, ensuring a "Premium" aesthetic that justifies our specialty price points.
Protect the "Founder Legacy" by ensuring community-focused storytelling remains at the heart of our larger corporate growth.
3. E-commerce & Digital Evolution
Partner with external agencies to optimize SEO and SEM performance.
Lead the marketing side of our loyalty program, using purchase data to create hyper-personalized email and SMS campaigns.
Lead the team in creating high-quality, "viral" content from live events to fuel social media channels.
4. Other
High-Impact Event Leadership
Negotiate and manage high-value sponsorships
The Profile: What We Are Looking For
Preference will be given to candidates with 5 years in the Pet Industry. You should have a proven track record of navigating the 'humanization of pets' trend and an ability to articulate our premium value proposition against both big-box and e-commerce competitors."
The Strategist: You don’t just "post on social"; you understand how a post impacts the P&L.
The Creative Technical: You are proficient in Adobe Creative Suite but can also navigate a Google Analytics dashboard with ease.
Requirements & Compensation
Experience: 5–7 years in Retail Marketing; 2 years in a leadership role.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
Salary: $80,000 – $90,000
