Summary
The Trust Officer is responsible for administering assigned trust accounts while ensuring compliance with internal policies, procedures, and applicable state trust regulations. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Administer and manage assigned trust accounts
- Ensure compliance with trust policies, procedures, and state regulations
- Maintain accurate documentation and account records
- Communicate effectively with clients, advisors, and internal teams
- Review trust documentation and interpret applicable procedures
- Identify and resolve account or operational issues
- Support trust operations and overall client service initiatives
- Manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of state trust compliance regulations, policies, and procedures
- Understanding of trust products, services, and operational practices
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Intermediate math skills
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to interpret documents, follow procedures, and prepare reports or correspondence
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective organizational and time management abilities
- Ability to collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
