Payroll Specialist
Growing Charlotte-based corporate headquarters is seeking a Payroll Specialist to support weekly payroll operations and ensure accurate processing of payroll-related activities. Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support for weekly payroll processing and payroll tax functions within SAP
- Submit and monitor payroll jobs, including transmitting ADP tax files through SAP
- Generate and distribute reports for department leaders regarding payroll activities and related issues
- Run payroll-related system jobs to post and update general ledger entries
- Prepare payroll, budget, and expense reports for internal stakeholders to assist with research and issue resolution
- Process incoming mail and support additional departmental projects as needed
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of payroll experience
- Experience with SAP preferred
- Experience with ADP SmartCompliance a plus
- High school diploma required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
