- Ensure accurate and timely payment of teammate payroll, including managing deductions and complying with all tax regulations
- Audit workflows related to new hires, terminations, transfers, rehires, and leaves of absence for accuracy and completeness; escalate discrepancies to the Associate Resource Center
- Review and process final Paid Time Off (PTO) balances
- Review and upload payroll data received from dealership partners
- Respond to payroll-related inquiries from management, Associate Resource Centers, dealership personnel, third-party vendors, and teammates
- Prepare and process manual payments, including gross-to-net calculations and proper tax application in accordance with policy
- Support the payroll management team to ensure smooth and timely processing of all teammate payments
- Contribute to special projects and process improvements as assigned by management
- Minimum of 3 years of payroll experience in a multi-state, high-volume environment (3,000 associates)
- Knowledge of involuntary deductions such as garnishments, child support, and tax levies
- Familiarity with payroll tax regulations and best-in-class payroll practices
- UKG Pro experience preferred; proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word required
- FPC or CPP certification strongly preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented, highly organized, and capable of operating effectively within a shared services environment
