Accounts Payable Specialist
We are partnering with a locally owned corporate office in Charlotte in hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist to their Accounting & Finance team. Responsibilities:
- Enter payables for multiple companies using and QuickBooks and bill.com
- Prepare payables for payment on a weekly basis
- Record bank deposits daily
- Act as a point of contact for subcontractors and vendors
- Verify COIs for vendors are accurate and update information in accounting systems
- Setup new vendors profiles
- Reconcile monthly statements from vendors
- Print invoices and validate that sales tax was handled correctly
- Assist with 1099s issuance
- Complete internal billing responsibilities and verify that the correct division was billed
- Compare divisional Receivables on a weekly basis
- Enter credit card receipts into accounting system
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in an AP Specialist or similar role preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
- Knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus.
