What You'll Do
As a Rehab Nurse, you'll play a vital role in supporting short-term rehabilitation patients throughout their recovery journey.
Responsibilities include:
- Deliver exceptional nursing care to short-term rehabilitation residents
- Perform assessments and monitor patient progress
- Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapy as ordered
- Collaborate with physical, occupational, and speech therapists to achieve rehabilitation goals
- Educate patients and families on treatments, medications, and discharge planning
- Communicate changes in condition promptly to providers and the interdisciplinary team
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Foster a positive, encouraging environment that motivates patients throughout their recovery
What We're Looking For
- Current RN or LPN license in good standing
- Excellent communication and critical-thinking skills
- Passion for rehabilitation and patient-centered care
- Skilled nursing or rehabilitation experience is preferred but not required
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
