We are currently hiring CNAs for first and second shifts, with a Daily Pay option that gives eligible employees access to earned wages before regular payday.

CNA Responsibilities
As a Certified Nursing Assistant, you will provide compassionate, resident-centered care under the direction of licensed nursing staff. Responsibilities include:
- Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating and mobility
- Answering call lights promptly and helping residents remain safe, comfortable and respected
- Measuring and documenting vital signs, weights, food and fluid intake, output and other assigned information
- Assisting with transfers, repositioning and ambulation using gait belts, mechanical lifts and other approved equipment
- Observing residents and immediately reporting changes in condition, behavior, skin integrity or comfort to the nurse
- Providing compassionate care to residents living with dementia, Alzheimer’s disease and other age-related conditions
- Following individualized care plans and encouraging residents to do as much as safely possible for themselves
- Supporting fall prevention, pressure injury prevention, hydration, nutrition and infection-control practices
- Accurately documenting resident care in PointClickCare or the facility’s electronic health record
- Protecting resident privacy, dignity, choices and rights
- Working cooperatively with nurses, fellow CNAs, therapists, dietary staff and other members of the interdisciplinary care team
- Maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for residents
Required Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant status on the Alabama Nurse Aide Registry
- Compassionate, dependable and committed to quality resident care
- Ability to communicate respectfully with residents, families and coworkers
- Ability to safely assist with lifting, transfers, repositioning and other physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Availability to work the selected shift and required weekend or holiday rotation
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous CNA, nursing home, skilled nursing, long-term care, assisted living, memory care or geriatric care experience
- Familiarity with PointClickCare or another electronic health record system
Newly certified CNAs are encouraged to apply. Experience is valuable, but reliability, compassion and a willingness to learn are just as important.
