What are the responsibilities and job description for the Founding GTM position at Trata (YC W25)?
We’re hiring a GTM Lead! I am looking for someone who can help build out, formalize and lead our GTM workflows as we scale. For the right person, this is designed to become a Head of Sales/Head of GTM role.
We’re backed by a VC with a higher unicorn rate than YC and Sequoia, Walter Kortschak (prev. CIO of SignalFire and Managing Partner at Summit Partners), Y Combinator, later-stage founders backed by some of the best VCs (Founders Fund, a16z, Accel, Bain Capital Ventures, YC), Pioneer Fund, Seaplane Ventures and 10 hedge funds.
Selling the product is not the issue. Getting me in front of a lot more funds is. We try to run at least one GTM experiment a week besides going deeper on what’s already working. I spend half of the month on the road meeting clients and prospective clients. I take about 3-5 sales calls virtually each day. You are here to accelerate all of this. There are a lot of balls to juggle, from top of funnel to closing contracts. For the right person, it will be a very fun role selling a product that is resonating to very cool clients.
You will set up outbound, open new markets, sign new partners, and build systems that your future team will follow.
