What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Operations Intern position at Trata (YC W25)?
We're hiring a Business Operations Intern to help us as we scale!

We are on a mission to change the way information flows within public markets. We are feeling the pull from the market and need to scale. We are firm believers in Brian Chesky’s quote: “In a war between missionaries and mercenaries, the missionaries always win.”
First years are welcome to apply. This internship is ideal for those looking for exposure to fast-paced startups and who want a more interesting part-time job (that looks much better on your resume) than an on-campus job. Outstanding job performance will lead to a summer internship for 2026.
For our interns, we are flexible with weekly hours. You can work whenever you want (morning, afternoon, evening). You will be paid hourly. You will listen to audio files and polish up our transcripts that were processed with LLMs. Your job is to “perfect” the transcript: make it enjoyable to read, check for wording errors (our LLM prompting is 85-90% accurate). The audio conversations are between sophisticated hedge fund clients and people pay thousands of dollars to read them. You will get other assignments as you demonstrate your ability to perform.
Attention to detail is critical. You will be rewarded extra cash for each transcript that meets our quality criteria. You do NOT need a finance background for this role.
