What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Outdoor Pool Attendants (June to September, 11 AM -7 PM) position at Trapp Family Lodge?
Looking for a summer job? We're hiring for Summer Pool Attendants!
Assist guests with questions/needs. Make sure all rules are followed. Test pools every 3 hours, bleed pressure and record findings. Add chemicals to pools when needed. Uniforms and meals are provided. Lifeguard certificate is not required. First Aid/CPR certificate is recommended.
Seasonal: June to September, 11 AM-7 PM
Duties:
- Greet guests as they come in gate. Have them sign in and out and hand them towels. (There is a charge if towels not returned)
- Always have radio for communication/emergencies
- Sell drinks and swimming accessories by cash and room charge
- Sign out equipment such as volleyball, bocce balls, etc.
- Restock/Collect towels and bathmats when empty/full.
- During slow times pick up trash and pull weeds between stones around pool
- Have lightening monitor on or if not at the outdoor pool always have contact with Fitness center and evacuate pool if monitor detects lightening.
- If raining, call in to see if there is a need for you to come in to work. If it starts to rain/thunder/lightening while on duty, then wait it out and clean in the fitness center if possible.
- Someone always needs to be covering the outdoor pool.
- Wear proper uniform.
- Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
