Systems Test Engineer (Hardware-Integrated Systems)

We are seeking an experienced Software Test Engineer or Systems Engineer with a strong end-to-end understanding of software and hardware-integrated systems. This role will focus on identifying system vulnerabilities, supporting integration testing, and ensuring overall product quality in a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with systems engineering teams to identify software and hardware vulnerabilities
• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans and protocols
• Perform hands-on integration and system testing for hardware-integrated applications
• Document results and author detailed technical reports
• Manage the defect lifecycle, including tracking, documentation, and reporting
• Support cross-functional teams during system integration and validation activities

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in software testing for hardware-integrated or embedded systems
• Strong experience with system-level and integration testing
• Proven ability to create and execute test plans and protocols
• Experience managing defects and bug tracking processes
• Solid understanding of end-to-end testing methodologies
• Experience working in a regulated environment (FDA, FAA, or similar)
• Background in the medical device industry is highly preferred
