Dynatrace Monitoring Engineer

Operations System Engineer

Use Dynatrace to proactively identify issues, deliver actionable metrics, logs, and events, and improve overall observability across IT infrastructure and applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor systems daily and identify issues before they impact users

• Develop, test, and implement monitoring solutions

• Troubleshoot and resolve monitoring-related problems

• Gather monitoring requirements from internal teams

• Build dashboards in Grafana and Dynatrace

• Help teams maximize value from Dynatrace

• Participate in Major Incident (MI) discovery, including after-hours support

Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

• 7 years in Dynatrace APM

• Scripting or software development experience

• Familiarity with ServiceNow and PagerDuty

• Experience with Dynatrace logging, cloud monitoring, and monitoring-as-code

• Experience with GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket, or similar code repositories

• Understanding of container technologies (e.g., Kubernetes)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
