IDR is seeking a Dynatrace Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Denver, CO. This role focuses on leveraging observability tools to proactively monitor and troubleshoot IT infrastructure and applications within a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The company operates within the IT services and software industry, emphasizing reliability, performance, and operational excellence.
Position Overview for the Dynatrace Engineer:
- Utilize Dynatrace to develop solutions and proactively detect issues before they impact users
- Deliver actionable metrics, logs, and events to support troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Perform day-to-day monitoring tasks, including developing, testing, and implementing monitoring solutions
- Work with internal customers to gather monitoring requirements and develop dashboards using Grafana and Dynatrace
- Participate in Major Incident discovery processes, including outside business hours when necessary
Requirements for the Dynatrace Engineer:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science preferred; equivalent experience acceptable
- 5 years of experience in Dynatrace Application Performance Monitoring
- Scripting and/or software development experience
- Working knowledge of ServiceNow and PagerDuty
- Experience with Dynatrace logging tools, cloud monitoring, and monitoring-as-code practices
