Position Description: Purpose
The Administrative Assistant II role will support VRTC teams by overseeing procurement, managing vehicle-related administration, and coordinating essential laboratory maintenance workflows.
Essential Functions*
- Type, edit, and coordinate documents
- Coordinate and schedule meetings
- Ensure logistics are handled for major meetings
- Handle purchasing coordination, purchase request and requestion creation, and tracking
- Lead and facilitate meetings via Google Meet, proficiently managing real-time data entry and tracking within Google Sheets.
- Manage vehicle-related administrative tasks, including title processing, recall monitoring, and sourcing competitive quotes
- Laboratory inventory
- Plan and organize complex tasks
- Provide cross-departmental support by assisting various teams with tasks as requested

Qualifications
- High school diploma is preferred
- Basic office education or training
- Minimum three years’ office experience
- Valid state DMV issued or valid foreign country issued driver’s license
- Excellent data entry skills
- Minimum typing speed of 45 wpm
- Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office software
- Excellent business writing, composition, spelling, grammar, and editing skills
- Excellent personable communication skills
- Ability to complete and pass all internal, position specific job and safety trainings required
