About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Associate to lead growth efforts. This role is responsible for identifying, engaging, and securing partnerships with facilities, hospitals, and physician offices, while communicating with the referral/admission coordinators. The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of the hospice landscape, a proven track record, and the ability to build trusted relationships with medical professionals. Key Responsibilities:
- Drive New Business: Identify and develop new primary care opportunities in the assisted living space through strategic prospecting, networking, and market research.
- Build Relationships: Establish and maintain long-term relationships with physicians, practice administrators, and other key decision-makers.
- Sales Strategy: Create and execute go-to-market strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Contract Negotiation: Lead contract negotiations with healthcare providers, ensuring mutual value and alignment.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities within primary care.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, operations, and clinical teams to align offerings with client needs.
- Reporting & Forecasting: Maintain accurate pipeline data and provide regular sales forecasts and performance reports to senior leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Healthcare Administration, Marketing, or related field is preferred
- 3 years of experience in a hospice, healthcare or similar setting.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Ability to travel regionally as needed (up to 50%)
