Transdev in El Centro, CA is hiring a Quality Assurance Supervisor. The Transit Quality Assurance Supervisor monitors, audits, and improves public transportation services, safety, training, and vehicle maintenance to ensure compliance with contract standards and regulations. They conduct field inspections, analyze performance data, implement corrective actions and reprimands for transit operations, directly contributing to safety, efficiency and customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct regular audits and inspections of transit vehicles, facilities, and operations to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Monitor service performance metrics (on-time performance, cleanliness, safety incidents) and recommend improvements.
Conduct ride-alongs and review operator performance through direct observation, DriveCam, and customer feedback.
Assist in developing and refining quality assurance policies, inspection checklists, and training materials.
Support investigations into accident/incident reports, service disruptions, safety concerns, or customer complaints, providing actionable recommendations and resolve.
Document findings, prepare detailed reports, and follow up on corrective actions to ensure timely resolution.
DriveCam Review and Coaching
Composes various activity reports, maintains various spreadsheets, and documents necessary data/information.
Works closely with other departments, managers, and supervisors to ensure the successful fulfilment of the Company’s goals.
Assists the Safety and Training Department: Classroom and BTW delivered training, Safety Meetings, re-training, 30, 60, 90 day and Annual Evaluations., etc.
Other duties as required.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED required.
Must possess a valid Class B driving license with endorsements
Computer literate with working knowledge of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Excellent customer service & communication skills.
Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
Physical Requirements:
The essential functions of this position require the ability to:
Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions-0% of the job is performed outside, work alone and in remote locations.
Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces
Push and pull objects up to 25 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level
Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerable amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and nois
