Job Description
We are looking for a Write-Up Inspector to perform thorough inbound railcar inspections, submit comprehensive and accurate estimate packages, and supports plant production. The Write-Up Inspector will also support the production team with other initiatives as needed.

Job Description
We are looking for a Write-Up Inspector to perform thorough inbound railcar inspections, submit comprehensive and accurate estimate packages, and supports plant production. The Write-Up Inspector will also support the production team with other initiatives as needed.
Job Requirements
- Inspect estimate packages for completeness and accuracy in a timely manner.
- Lead preprocess research.
- Work with scheduling to ensure estimates are complete to meet production demand.
- Interface with engineering, car owners, and customers for repair instructions (contract review).
- Verify the incorporation of supplemental repairs into final Billing Repair Card (BRC).
- Participate in root cause analysis (RCA) of supplemental repairs.
- Able to perform tasks that require climbing and balancing on ladders and platforms. Verifies cars are properly secured and identified prior to being released.
- Able to pass drug screen and physical.
