As Vice President of Accounting, you will own the integrity of the company’s financial foundation while modernizing how accounting operates at scale. This role requires a highly technical accounting leader with deep expertise in U.S. GAAP, transaction and M&A accounting, and the ambition to build a best-in-class accounting function. You’ll have influence on how OTG scales, integrates acquisitions, strengthens controls, and uses automation to drive speed, accuracy, and insight. Responsibilities
- Support accounting operations, including monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across a complex, multi-entity structure
- Own and oversee highly technical accounting matters, including M&A and transaction accounting (ASC 805), purchase accounting and post-acquisition integration, lease accounting (ASC 842), and non-routine, judgment-heavy accounting assessments
- Serve as the accounting leader for all M&A activity, including diligence, deal execution support, and post-close integration
- Partner closely with FP&A, Treasury, Legal, and Operations to support strategic initiatives and executive decision-making
- Support all external audit activities and maintain strong relationships with external auditors and advisors
- Drive efficiency, automation, and system optimization, reducing close timelines and increasing scalability
- Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting team while setting clear expectations, accountability, and performance standards
- Strengthen internal controls, governance, and policy consistency across the organization
- Bring a hands-on, detail-oriented mindset while operating as a confident executive leader
Required Qualifications
- CPA required
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (Master’s preferred)
- 10-15 years of progressive accounting experience, including senior leadership roles
- Strong foundation in public accounting (Big 4 or large national firm preferred)
- Demonstrated expertise in technical accounting and M&A / transaction accounting
- Proven experience leading accounting teams in complex, multi-entity, high-volume environments
- Track record of driving process improvements, automation, and operational efficiencies
Preferred Qualifications
- ERP implementation or optimization experience
- Experience in hospitality, retail, consumer, or similarly complex operating environments
- Strategic, ambitious leader with executive presence and strong communication skills
